Who are the Penlands and why should you trust them with your family's portrait history?
Ted A. Penland Master Photog. Cr., CPP, ASP
Ted holds a full Fellowship in the Professional Photographers Guild of Houston Inc. (PPGH) and served on the board of the PPGH for five years, is a Full Fellow in the Texas Professional Photographers Association (TPPA) and served as a councilman at Large on the 2005 Board of Directors. He is a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and holds the Master of Photography degree, the Photographic Craftsman degree and is also a Certified Professional Photographer. Less than 3 percent of all photographers hold this mark of excellence. Ted is also a member of the Southwest Professional Photographers Association (SWPPA), Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI), and the American Society of Photographers (ASP).
Jennifer Penland Cr. Photog.
Jennifer holds an associate Fellowship degree in the Professional Photographers Guild of Houston (PPGH), is an Associate Fellow of the Texas Professional Photographers (TPPA), holds a Photographic Craftsman degree with the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and is a member of the Southwest Professional Photographers Association.

Together, Ted and Jennifer have established a portrait business with the focus of being your family portrait preservation artist. The Penlands feel that selecting your family photographer is a very important decision. Just as your family doctor knows your children, a portrait artist should grow with your family and know you. To do a true portrait study of a person takes time and desire from the client and artist to capture that inner personality, that something special that makes it a true "Portrait".
